Eco-YogaHealing is an eco-spiritual approach to Yoga which concentrates on bringing balance, harmony and flow - internally and externally to ourselves and our environment. Eco-YogaHealing helps establish a strong union of mind-body-spirit with the four elements of Mother Earth - fire, earth, air and water. Focusing on each element Eco-YogaHealing enables us to integrate various asanas into our Yoga practice, which help us heal the undernourished areas in our body that have been affected most by environmental toxins, work related stress and anxiety.
Eco YogaHealing created by Dr. Helaine Sheias, RYT, CGF is a holistic approach to the awakening of one's physical bodily intelligence, drawing on the sacred Kabbalistic symbol of oneness and unity - The Tree of Life. Eco-YogaHealing facilitates a reconnection to one's innate wisdom and understanding of being.
This holistic and heart centered approach to growth and well being is now offered through Eco YogaHealing Workshops, Individual Eco-YogaHealing Sessions, Strategizing Transformational Success (STS) Consultations, and at the LEAP Retreats as a therapeutic modality aiming to align mind, body, emotion, and spirit within a collaborative, creative, and conscious community.
Eco YogaHealing is an integrative, non-intrusive and preventive form of healing for the recovery and rehabilitation of a variety of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual ailments. A unique opportunity to stretch your body and allow a sense of free flowing, expansive aliveness - each session introduces you to a variety of yoga asanas (postures) that are both restorative and nurturing in experience. In addition, guided imagery, reflective processing, heart centered breath work, and an integration of connectedness with the eco-system of your body and with your natural environment is incorporated.
This earth-based healing approach invites each individual to Develop an Inner Wisdom of Self, by offering yoga as a path to self-realization. This invitation originates from the humanistic belief that as human beings, we naturally strive to create opportunities that enhance self-actualization, meaningfulness and purpose in our lives. The emergence into one's inner wisdom occurs through the focused guidance of becoming more aware of the sensations that hold meaning for individuals and by teaching people to engage in ''a special quality of attention'' - called ''interested curiosity.'' By bringing in one's ''interested curiosity'' to each and every relationship that we approach as human beings, and specifically to our bodies, we begin to open up to a level of conscious awareness that is inclusive as opposed to intrusive; expansive as opposed to constricted; self-motivating as opposed to self-sabotaging, reconstructive as opposed to deconstructive; and lastly empowering as opposed to enduring.
As you begin to release the constricted consciousness of obstacles, blockages and victim circumstances, you begin to move into the circle of empowerment and transformation. This is the sacred space of alignment with Self. This is the time when your authenticity undergoes a new and revived sense of meaning and purposefulness.
Healing or tikkun is all about finding our way back to the Tree of LIFE, to the sacred place where unity integrates all polarities. It is a place of differentiation, of reconnection, of rejoining and realigning our realities as we diligently work with our body, mind, and spirit. It is where we inevitably begin to release the toxicity of our past and thus invite processes of self-healing to commence. In doing so, we are able to reach a sense of inner equilibrium and equanimity.
Gathering ancient sacred wisdom and ancestral knowledge together with meditation and eco-spiritual earth-based healing Eco-YogaHealing has become an alternative modality to self awakening and wellness. Using Eco-YogaHealing as the foundation to deepen processes of self-exploration through the act of ''hearing one's self into speech'', this process easily facilitates circles of transformation and change by modeling measures of experiential learning, social engagement and self-reflection. In Eco-YogaHealing sessions and workshops individuals are guided in how to maintain sacredness in their lives by consistently embodying a sense of 'wholeness', i.e., by staying in relation and in participation with their bodies, and to the land and to the peoples where they reside.
Eco-YogaHealing invites us to connect and interact with Mother Earth's energies so that we may enhance and enrich all aspects of our LIFE.
Become one with the natural rhythms of your LIFE.
